Abstract
From Flash to Android - How to monetize your gaming content in the Android space using alternative distribution platforms
Since the launch of the iPhone by Apple, it is fair to say that Smartphones have fundamentally changed the way we communicate with our friends, access information, consume media, conduct e-commerce and play games.
Soon after the iPhone, Google started its competing mobile platform Android which has become the number two Smartphone OS- in terms of apps and active users.
Compared to iPhone, Android is open, which allows developers to not only be more creative, but to also distribute their apps outside the incument app store.
