the flashconference (www.flashconference.de) is the oldest international conference in Europa for the flash format and it's part of the . the flashconference was foundet in 1998 in Stuttgart, Germany, by Wolfgang Schmidt-Sichermann - who started as a flash book author, working right now as project manager and consultant. He is CEO of www.in4mation.de and runs a couple of various platforms on the internet, e. g. the milesBoard project and some iPhone apps for games and events (like the flashconference iPhone app, the 5D iPhone app and the TEDxMunich iPhone app)
the flashconference always focusses on two topics:
- news about flash and innovations at the 2D sector
- glimpses into sectors like sound, video, commercials, business applications and games, which are more or less important for flash developers.
the flashconference already presented speakers from overall Europe like France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Hungary as well as from the US, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Russia, Israel ... to learn more about their approaches.
the audience is international, because the FMX gives an international framework, where you will sit next to flash developers from Italy, the art director of an US film network or nice students from Spain ... that's why the flashconference is so fascinating!
